The Ford Transit V363 is already a spacious panel van, making it ideal for family camping trips. With the SCA 224 for the short wheelbase or the SCA 226 for the long wheelbase, the vehicle becomes even more versatile: it offers additional sleeping space and maximizes the interior. These roofs are a new product innovation – the lightweight construction of the roof shell is currently unmatched.
Roof Shell
The roof shell of the SCA 224 is made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic (GFRP). Thanks to innovative lightweight construction, it weighs less than comparable models, improving driving dynamics. The standard white color can be custom-painted at the factory.
Its smooth surface is perfect for mounting solar panels.
Canvas Bellows
The breathable polyester canvas bellows feature a large panoramic window that offers an excellent view. The window can be fully opened and is equipped with a mosquito net – ensuring bright days and mosquito-free nights.
Sleeping Area
The extra-comfortable mattress with a 60 mm thick cushion is complemented by an integrated disc spring support system, which provides ventilation and additional sleeping comfort. The high-lift mechanism allows for flexible sleeping positions, whether facing forward or backward.
Locking System
The modern South-Co. locking system ensures easy operation and maximum security. An automatic folding mechanism keeps the canvas bellows neatly tucked in when closing the roof.
