The SCA 188 upgrades panel vans to recreational vehicles and is suitable for the identical vehicles Renault Trafic (model year from 2014), Fiat Talento, Opel Vivaro (model year from 2014) and Nissan NV300 with long wheelbase. The high scissor lifts create an additional lying surface and standing height in the camper.
Roof shell
The fiberglass plastic shell is manufactured using the injection process. The standard color is white - other colors can easily be painted at the factory on request. The smooth surface of the roof is ideal for attaching solar modules without significantly increasing the overall height of the vehicle. The foam core inside the roof shell has an insulating effect. The soft crumpled velour on the inside of the roof creates a cozy atmosphere in the reclining area.
Fabric bellows and window
The fabric bellows is made of breathable cotton fabric and has two side and one front window. Ventilation is guaranteed by the left and front windows, which have fly screens to prevent unwanted mosquitoes from entering. If you are not afraid of insects, you can open the front window completely.
Lying surface
As always with SCA, the mattress of the mattress base is made of high-quality foam and rests on a mattress base. This is equipped with disc springs for greater comfort when sleeping. These also ensure the best possible ventilation and a warm bed in winter in vehicles with auxiliary heating. he access hatch is closed with a fabric or imitation leather cover. The extra-high scissor stays allow you to sleep with your head both facing the direction of travel and against it. The feet also enjoy more space. If you fold the lying surface upwards, you can stand upright comfortably in the bus.
Locking system
The roof is equipped with an easy-to-operate Southco locking system. With these twist locks, an integrated safety strap ensures optimum locking of the roof. When the roof shell is closed, a practical folding mechanism automatically pulls the fabric bellows inwards so that it cannot become trapped between the body and the roof.
