What materials are used for the pop-up roof?
We manufacture the outer shell of the pop-up roof from fiberglass-reinforced plastic, which enables a lightweight but extremely stable and durable construction. Inside the roof shell is a foam core that has insulating properties, stores heat in winter and protects against overheating in summer. The fabric bellows consists of a breathable cotton or polyester fabric. The mattress of the lying surface is made of high-quality foam, which ensures a restful night's sleep.
Are suitable spare parts available for the pop-up roof?
If you need to replace individual parts of your pop-top roof, you have three options: Repair and spare parts ordering via an SCA extension partner, our network of SCA workshop partners or directly via the SCA store, where you can order spare parts yourself. Regardless of the warranty period, our central warehouse in Königsbronn enables fast delivery to our partners or directly to your home.
How does the ordering and installation process for a pop-top roof work?
You have two options for retrofitting your vehicle with an SCA pop-top roof: Either via our Europe-wide network of conversion partners who specialize in offering new vehicles with SCA roofs already installed or retrofitting customer-owned vehicles. Different conditions apply here, so it is best to contact the partner of your choice directly for more information. We also offer installation in our SCA service workshop in Königsbronn. The ordering process usually takes place via an inquiry, in which you tell us which roof you have decided on, whether you would like a custom paint finish or other attachments and accessories. The easiest way to do this is via the practical SCA roof finder. If you have any questions or uncertainties, we can offer you personal advice. We will then calculate the price for your new roof and provide you with all further information and arrange the installation date. Once the order has been placed, the roof will be prepared for installation according to your configuration.
