SCA Announces the Launch of the New SCA 390 Pop-Up Roof for VW Crafter and MAN TGE

We are excited to announce the launch of the new SCA 390 for the VW Crafter and the identical MAN TGE. The development of this roof was driven by the current market trend towards larger vans and the needs of our distribution partners. With attention to detail and years of experience in the design and manufacturing of pop-up roofs, the new SCA 390 boasts a range of features that make it stand out:

Versatile Applications

The SCA 390 can be mounted on all models of the brands with front, rear, and all-wheel drive. Additionally, customers can choose between the classic manual and the convenient electric roof deployment options.

Refined Design

The SCA 390 features the familiar elegant design. Developed by designers, it integrates harmoniously into the vehicle’s overall appearance and stands out with its sleek, streamlined aesthetics. A surrounding, dimmable LED light strip, with controls located near the entry on the driver’s side, provides pleasant interior lighting.

Excellent Sealing and Maximum Stability

With over 35 years of experience in manufacturing pop-up and high roofs, the SCA 390 offers a proven system that ensures reliable sealing. The roof, manufactured using an industrial injection process, is securely connected to the vehicle platform, providing maximum stability. The passage from the vehicle interior to the roof area is designed to avoid interfering with the vehicle's structural integrity. Additional reinforcement elements are not required.

New Canvas Bellows and Innovative Features

The double-keder panorama canvas bellows of the SCA 390 are made from a new, breathable canvas fabric that is particularly waterproof during rain, withstanding a water column of up to 1500 mm. The pop-up roof comes standard with a generously sized roof window integrated into the roof shell, equipped with a mosquito net and blackout function. The large Southco locking mechanism with a compensating spring ensures the roof is securely closed.
