Finally out of the dark office and into vacation – only to have no sunlight while traveling? Those who wish for more or different windows for their camper can have them easily installed afterwards – whether new openings need to be cut into the transporter or existing windows need to be replaced.
Side Windows
In most vans, the side windows are usually fixed glass panes. Those who prefer sliding windows instead can have them retrofitted without difficulty. The existing windows are then cut out and replaced with a suitable installation window.
Windows in the Transporter
Owners of a transporter without side windows can easily transform it into a cozy camper full of daylight with later installed windows. Openings are cut into the walls and suitable windows are inserted.
Darkening
The windows have a dark gray tint. This is incorporated into the glass during the manufacturing process – it is therefore not an applied film. So, there is no need to worry that the darkening will come loose over time. Only 20% of visible light penetrates into the interior of the vehicle through the tinted glass. The window thus provides extra light – but not at the expense of privacy.
Installation
The installation of the windows can generally be done by those who are handy. However, those who choose to have them installed by the SCA converter or the SCA service garage will not only receive professional installation, but also two years of warranty, and can look forward to sun-filled trips in the camper.
Safety
The specially tempered glass is designed to not rain down large shards in the event of an accident. Instead, it shatters into small pieces – without sharp edges and splinters. The risk of injury is low.
